Léon and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who tried to help Léon. Unfortunately Léon did not survive his illness. However, he and I hope that this website will enable others to learn from his journey, and, ultimately, to make the world a healthier and safer place in which to live.

Many thanks to all of those involved in the writing and publication of Léon's paper, "Fibrosarcoma with Typical Features of Postinjection Sarcoma at Site of Microchip Implant in a Dog: Histologic and Immunohistochemical Study." While some laboratories considered additional testing of his tissue samples to be too "laborious," the authors of Léon's paper welcomed the opportunity to review his reports and test his tissue samples.
